 1. I really liked working on the website assignment. I learned a lot about designing a website to loot visually appealing while still presenting the necessary information. I though Weebly was very easy to use and was very helpful in what they offered. I think that I will have a website like this in the future to hold static information and resources for parens and students to access. http://bryceruddock.weebly.com 2. I think Diigo is a great tool to use for online annotating and keeping a collection of resources. I could see students using this application to annotate assignments or readings that I give them. Students could also use it to hold all of their assignments from the class and then make a portfolio at the end of the year. Diigo could also be used by educators to facilitate meetings or share information online. 3. I chose Edutopia as my source because it has a lot of information on all subjects fro teachers to use. 1. I actually like the ability for teachers to have their own websites because it is something that I never had at my school. I went to the Leon High School Teacher Website page and clicked on a random teacher, Mr. Don Coon. On his homepage, he had an article explaining how he will begin to send out information through Remind so students can be more up-to-date with their assignments and resources. He also has a personal information page that outlines his background and previous experiences with teaching.  1. Before this class, I had a personal twitter that I used occasionally to follow different people and organizations. I haven't used the student account a lot yet, but I can see how it would be useful. As a teacher, Twitter can be used to to connect with other educators or educational programs. Teachers can share techniques and activities, or talk with other teachers about their experiences. 2. The digital divide is more evident today with the integration of technology into the classroom. Students who do not have access to technology or an internet connection will have a harder time completing work or staying up-to-date with information from the teacher. Students who are more prone to have technology issues are those who come from poorer households, or from rural environments. To help those students, teachers can allow them to stay after class to use the school internet, or give them physical materials so they can keep up with the rest of the class. 3.
